Obama's Wedding Ring- Many of you have forwarded diffrent versions of the WND story about the wedding band that is worn by President Obama. After looking into this story and reading even references to it by the Huffington Post from 2007 and the Harvard Law Review from the 1990s, I have come to the conclusion that this does matter, at least to me. The ring according to Islam experts does in fact have the first portion of the Shahada, The Islamic Declaration of Faith. It reads when translated "There is no God but Allah." The Article goes on to say, “By wearing this religious statement on one’s hand, it connects the person to Islam. It is worn in hopes that Allah’s protections would be with the person, in hopes of gaining favor with Allah.”
For a Man to claim a Christian faith and wear this ring, should cause people to truly question his spritual influence. Please read the article I have attached, but do some homework and you decide, does this matter to you?
