The Guests

Dan Krassner, Integrity Florida, 7:08 AM  It's "ethics day" on TMS.  Mr. Krassner has spearheaded an effort to make it an issue in the State (which may trickle down to the City).

Erwin Jackson, Jackson Properties, 8:08 AM  Mr. Jackson has done citizens in Tallahassee a huge service at great personal expense.  He has tried to bring to light the unethical conduct of Mayor John Marks.  The Florida Commission on Ethics agreed with Mr. Jackson, but a highly liberal administrative Judge Lawrence P. Stevenson has disagreed with the Commission.  Gee, what a surprise.  We will talk about it all.

The Stories

"Merry Christmas, Mr. President"  How about a nice $4 million vacation in Hawaii for a gift from the taxpayers.  What a joke.

"Balanced approach"  Those are the words of Barack Obama, Harry Reid and the other Democrats trying to avert the fiscal cliff.  Their notion of balanced is pretty dog gone funny.

Bondi not backing down on ObamaCare  The Florida Attorney General is going on the offensive regarding the damage that the new healthcare law will do to the economy and, most importantly, to people.

Some GOPers caving  We started to hear the cracks; now they're visible.  Republicans are ready to back raising taxes on "the wealthy".  Bad move.

Governor wants $10k degree  It's an ambitious idea.  A bachelor's degree for $10,000 in a field where there are jobs.

Federal workers: "Spare us"  As the fiscal cliff looms unions are banding together to demand that Congress leave them alone.  Whatever.

Mortgage deduction "on the table"  As budget talks deal with the "cliff" the real estate industry could get hammered.
