Boehner calls President's hand  U.S. Speaker of the House Rep. John Boehner has offered to talk about raising taxes "under the right conditions" in return for overhauling the tax code and dealing with entitlements and social safety net programs.  Is Boehner being practical or caving in?

Putin overjoyed  Good to know that one of our nation's most longstanding enemies finds comfort in the reelection of Barack Obama.
