Today I discussed a long-standing opinion of mine..."Choosing to not vote is voting by default."
Thankfully, I was aided in my comments by some callers and an e-mail or two. There are times that I so completely convinced of the "rightness" of my position that I might end up defending it poorly. Maybe that has never happened to you, but when I KNOW that I am right about something, I just know. Then again, it has likely happened to you often.
I sit amazed at those who are choosing to not vote in the election because they see no difference between Obama and Romney. I believe the differences are obvious and apparent. But, to those who cannot or will not see the obvious differences in experience and integrity there is nothing more I can do or say. It's all out there and plain as day.
But, just to help those of you who are stilling willing to consider (or reconsider) I offer this link which offers the mathematical reality to my over-all point. I will close with a quote sent from Will, a listener:
"There’s always a difference! This is between ‘bad" and ‘worse’ — which is much sharper than between ‘good’ and ‘better’"
— R. A. Heinlein, "Stranger in a Strange Land"
