The Guests

Dr, David Hartz, DC  Optimum Health, Naturally is a twice-monthly segment to offer insight into feeling better and getting past symptons to main causes of many of our health maladies.  We'll talk about foods that make you hurt.

Lisa Sprague, Candidate, Leon County Sheriff  This is one of the most intriguing races of the bunch.  The incumbant survived a primary challenge whereas Ms. Sprague had no primary running as an NPA candidate.

The Stories

Amendments and more  Want to know all you can about the amendments on the November 6 ballot?  We have just the place for you to find what you need!

Romney wins popular vote  The source of the slug (headline) has never been wrong.  The model used to predict the popular vote winner has been correct every time since its inception in 1980.  It says Romney has a 77% chance of winning the popular vote.  That does NOT guarantee an electoral college win, but it's pretty darn close.

Fact Check: The Debate  There are so many sources for figuring out who was honest and who was not.  If you don't like our link, there are plenty of others to find.

Meanwhile: Romney assassination threats  This is NOT funny; it's not a joke.  This is pathetic and evidence of something.

Poverty  One of our favorites, Dr. Walter Williams offers some great insight into the mentality of poverty.

State Dept. picks a winner  This is almost funny...almost.  The United States Department of State (already in the hot seat over Libya) has selected a very sketchy, anti-Israel delegate for a human rights forum.

Coburn calls out more waste  This is an annual report that identifies how our tax dollars are wasted in profound ways.  Give the 200 plus page report a little time to load.

Schools: Different standards based on race?  On the surface, the idea rubs most wrong.  But, there are compelling reasons to make the change that the State Board of Education just put in place.  Still, Governor Rick Scott wants changes to the plan.  We'll discuss.

Incoming State Senate President looks to ethics  Sen. Don Gaetz is looking into the making some changes in ethics policies within the legislature.  Refreshing.
