In this case it's the message and the messenger
You have heard the expression, "Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger!". Sometimes it's an acceptable response to a given situation. But, not here. I encourage you to link to this page today and send it to all of your friends regardless of their political place on the spectrum of philosophies.
Clip one is the President. The clip, however, pre-dates his time in the White House. This is U.S. Senator Barack Obama when running for the nomination. Notice how he calls out President George W. Bush for reckless spending. A fair criticism, I might add. However, it is hard to ignore the rhetoric when you listen to the President today and when you compare his reckless and "unpatriotic" spending in just five years. Remember, under Obama our debt has grown nearly EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS HIGHER in JUST FIVE YEARS. His predecessor raised it four trillion in eight years. Both should be humiliated. I just want you to consider this as the debt ceiling vote comes. Senator Obama voted against raising it while in the Senate and called it cowardly and a lack of leadership. Is it any different now?
Our sec ond tape comeas courtesy of the TSA. It needs little set-up. It comes from George Bush International Airport in Houston. It's a warning. Do not joke about the TSA...EVER.
This is scary.
